The £6 million pounds lost by Christies Hospital was raised from public donations, and the management are now launching a legal appeal to get the money back from the government. Since it was poor financial management that lost the money, should the management of Christies now take a reduction in their salaries to part compensate the Hospital, or should they just be sacked. The money lost would have been safe if it had been held in a UK bank.
